Are you staying at one of the hotel properties at Ko'olina?
Please read for some important information regarding booking your session on the Ko'olina property.

Background information that our clients need to know before scheduling a session at Ko’olina

Ko’olina is a RESORT area, the lagoons are NOT owned by the hotels there they are owned by the Ko’olina community association and leased to the Hotels. Permission to shoot at the lagoons can be granted by calling the Koolina office and obtaining a permit, they can call 808-671-2512, the permit cost is $500 per event should you choose to pay their fee.

 For clients staying at the
 Marriott Ihilani or Beach Club

a. We can photograph clients on the Marriott property if they are staying at Marriott Ihilani or Beach Club ONLY. We have been on the vendor list for both the Ihilani and the Beach Club for many years, Mahalo Marriott! If Clients want beach shots we must go to Lanikuhonua lagoon, between the Ihilani and Paradise Cove.
b.      Morning sessions are HIGHLY recommended
c.       Due to limited beach access and parking for our photographic staff, if sunset pictures are requested, additional parking fees of $25 will be charged for the session.
d.      All sessions are based on daily availability.

For clients staying at the Aulani Disney Resort

a.       We do not have permission to shoot on the Aulani grounds. They do have their own photographic staff and our efforts to reach the Disney property promotions manager Scott Swimone have gone unanswered.
b.      For Aulani guests who do not wish to travel to do their session, they may contact the Ko’olina association for permission to shoot at Aulani or shoot at Lanikuhonua  only.

Our Recommendation if our clients do not wish to shoot at Lanikuhonua beach or on the Marriott properties only?

We recommend shooting in a different location to all our clients to avoid the high fees and inflexibility associated with the Ko’olina Association Properties. We are happy to make suggestions for other locations, there are over 300 beaches on Oahu and many that are as nice or better than those at Ko’olina.
